Mobile Armed Protection Team Leader, Kabul, Afghanistan.• Hostile environment incident response and management.• Assessment and conduct of comprehensive venue reporting on operational locations. As well as detailed site venue reports and security risk analysis on Australian Government Owned sites.• Armed protection of diplomatic personnel within the operational area by vehicle or rotary and fixed wing assets. • Security briefings to diplomatic, military, and non-government organization personnel.• Conduct of drills, briefs and training on a daily basis. Including the Conduct of physical and tactical scenario based training.• Manage stakeholder expectations.• Identify and procure assets required for operational purpose.• Liaise and manage team roster to maximize time, cost and quality of operational requirements.• Focus on continual improvement.

• Provide in depth review and analysis of terrain and infrastructure to international celebrities, executives or government agencies whilst touring, visiting, or conducting operations within Australia.• Ensure the conduct of detailed venue reports and site security reviews in accordance with current policy and procedure.• Oversee the security operations whilst liaising with key stakeholders and relevant emergency services.• Provide mentoring and professional guidance to contracted services.• Advise on relevant security policy and procedure whilst developing training packages within hostile environments.

Achievements and Responsibilities• Conduct of multiple operations including deployments to Afghanistan, South Korea and Malaysia. During these operations it was my duty to ensure adequate training and preparation was conducted prior, during and post deployment.• Domestic assistance for the G20 Summit, Brisbane 2014, whereas a Section Commander it was my duty to review all venues, routes and intelligence assessments with the intent to deploy as a tactical response element.• Plan, execute and present analysis of static and mobile force protection. Provide extensive back briefs on the key disposition of assets within the operational theatre. This included the analysis of threats against vital assets and mitigating measures to protect against likely risks.• Conduct route planning and threat analysis within complex human and topographical terrain.• Provided mentoring and training to Afghan, South Korean and Malaysian soldiers and commanders including application of motorised assets, force protection and hardening facilities. This includes the assessment and planning of infiltrating assets and key locations held by unfriendly forces.• Execute casualty evacuation and prioritise emergency medical treatment whilst conducting operations.• Personnel administration and the management of personnel.
