I have been freelancing for Razor PR since February 2020. I work primarily on the BDO South Africa account but help out across the agency’s clients as required. I worked with the BDO team to execute their three Clarity Charter Sessions in 2020 and the beginning of 2021. The objective of the Clarity Sessions was to position BDO South Africa as the audit and consulting firm that leads the entire category in being and doing better.The BDO Clarity Campaign won the following awards in 2021: PRISM 2021 Awards: Special Mention Award in Financial Services Category and Bronze Award in Corporate Communications Category SABRE Awards Africa 2021: Diamond Award for Reputation Management and Diamond Award for Corporate ImageSABRE Awards EMEA 2021: Shortlisted for the SABRE Award Superior Achievement in Reputation Management

While at Tribeca PR, I worked on a number of accounts including Emperors Palace, the Peermont Group, Eaton SouthAfrica, TomTom Telematics, TomTom Consumer, Lixil and Lil-Lets. I was part of the team that worked on the RocoMamas #ElectionBurger Campaign which won SouthAfrican Campaign of the Year and Gold for Social Media as the Primary Method of CommunicationCategory at the 2017 PRISMS.

While at Ogilvy Public Relations, I was the account director on the consumer team. My main responsibility was to manage the LG Electronics account which included both the mobile and consumer electronics business. The account consisted of both PR and social media functions. In addition, I worked on accounts including Viacom (MTV, MTV Base, Comedy Central, and Nickelodeon), Darling Hair, Microsoft, Domestos, Kotex as well as the PR functions for Ogilvy South Africa and Ogilvy Johannesburg. I managed a team of seven members ranging from account executives to account managers as well as members of the social media team.While working on the LG Mobile account, we assisted in the launch of the LG G Series Mobile phones in South Africa. The campaign was recognised with the following awards:PRISMS 2015: Silver for Campaign of the YearThe SABRE Awards EMEA Finalist: Gold SABRE, Industry Sectors: Consumer Electronics A campaign to create awareness of World Toilet Day was executed for Domestos - Domestos Donate Your Pee. This campaign was awarded with Gold SABRE, Industry Sectors: Home and Furniture.

I started at Sabio Communications as an account executive and progressed to an Account Director. While at Sabio Communications, my passion for consumer and FMCG brands developed. I worked with brands including Huggies, Kleenex, Kotex, Jungle, Morvite, Cryo-Save, Freshpak, Five Roses, Trinco, Appletiser, House of Coffees, Lavazza and Kraft including Jacobs and Philadelphia Cheese. During my time at Sabio Communications, I contributed to winning the Kimberly-Clark business, brands that form part of the Tiger Brands portfolio as well as Cryo-Save.
