Since 2011, Sam has worked as G P Coating’s Managing Director - continuing a legacy and decade-strong industry presence. Since Sam joined the team, his value has been clear to see by all. He brings not only broad business operation skills to the table but a personal passion for painting and decorating too - after spending most of his 20s as a painter by trade. Sam’s passion and skills have seen G P Coatings evolve and grow from strength to strength over the past eight years.Before joining our team, Sam worked as a national sales manager at a large electrical appliance distributor for six years, serving clients all across Australia. Thanks to Sam’s time with this distributor, he gained a wealth of sales experience in the demanding construction industry, while working first-hand on nationwide business operations. Today, Sam is an indispensable asset on our team, keeping the G P Coatings legacy alive while leveling-up our game as a brand. With Sam’s help, G P Coatings has become a leading painting contractor in Australia - a name synonymous with high-end specialty finishes, wall coverings, decorative products, impeccable painting tools, and beyond. G P Coatings has achieved a lot since its inception, but we know this is just the beginning - especially with Captain Sam steering the ship.When he’s not working, Sam can be found spending time with his two children, fishing, swimming, taking a walk through the bushes, or doing just about anything else if it means getting outdoors.
