• Despite being in an offshore location, I was the first Lead Engineer within the body engineering team to complete the design development, and release of all owned components leading to the availability of off-tool.
• Developed a solution to modify the carryover door module plate to package a 21MY ADAS module. making the part backwards compatible for use on 18MY & 21MY cars, saving £200k in new tool development
• Took ownership of the tailgate badges that were a late starter after the prototype build. Drove the CAD changes, supplier onboarding, and tool development in an 18w lead time, leading to PPAP phase 1 parts availability.
• Pushed for the decision to move a variety of design validation tests from supplier end to JLR in house labs from programme seniors, saving £40k in paint testing costs for the tailgate badges
• Trained over 15 engineers within the team on the newly adopted CATIA v6 and Enovia systems

• Project: E-PACE, EVOQUEComponent owner of the Rear End Module team responsible for the CAD design and packaging of Plastic & SMC tailgates, Finishers, Badges, Backlight Glass, Spoilers, Tailgate Seal, Drain through.
• Creation of parametric CAD models using CATIA v5 surfacing and part design modules
• Generate and develop component 2D drawings with GD&T and datum setups
• Designed a process to save Optical quality 2D sections in a slideshow manner using CATIA inbuilt macros; a typical section book has over 100 sections
• Came up with a solution to capture over 70 variants of the badges on the EVOQUE project within the Bill of Materials, reducing the amount of paperwork needed for release
