In addition to the wonderful work I've done for the past several years, I'm now tasked with strategic planning of communications plans and initiatives, increased responsibility in an emergency management capacity, and supervising a web designer dedicated specifically to our team's digital presence.

I have the incredible privilege of telling the stories of the 600+ individuals who make up UT Facilities Services while communicating internal and external information in a compassionate, clear and concise way. I do this through social media and website content creation and management, newsletter and e-magazine content and editing, in-person and online workshops and events, media relations, emergency management and crisis communication, active listening, and strong cross-campus collaboration with other departments.

Serve as Executive Assistant to the CEO, Assist Vice President in the implementation of the Roane Tourism Strategic Plan, Build partnerships to accomplish more tourism related projects, etc.

We work with hard-to-insure markets to provide health care at an affordable premium to those least likely to be offered fair options. As Graphic and Print Designer, I help create and generate content for the client, the end user and the insurance broker to promote the Enrollment First and Enroll Health brands. This includes but is not limited to social media, e-mail campaigns, internal marketing, brochure design and distribution, internal and external event planning, blogging, and trade show strategy.

I promote tourism in Oak Ridge, TN by focusing on group tours, hotel sales, family reunions, class reunions, and bringing new events to our area. I look at new ways to market "World War II's Secret City" to the general public by telling the stories of our wonderful city. I'm currently focusing on bringing sporting events to the Oak Ridge area.

I work with the planning and promotion of special events produced by KARM and serve as a liason between KARM and our 3rd Party fundraisers. Homeless ministry is my passion, and I am able to use my public relations degree to the fullest extent while working in a field that has captured my heart. Unfortunately, this was only a temporary position, but the skills and work experience I gained during my time at KARM are priceless.

I've gained valuable experience in writing, researching, event planning, graphic design, database entry, internet researching, community relations, and media relations. I also enjoy seeing the fruits of our labor as I track press mentions for our organization.

I assisted in advertising sales, community relations, promotion, event planning, social media tracking, and database entry in preparation for the10th Annual Rossini Festival which brought nearly one hundred thousand people to downtown Knoxville on April 9, 2011.
