Student Parliament Sierra Leone (SP-SL) director is Francis Sam-Kabba Jr. who served previously for 5 years as a Community Health Worker with Goal Sierra Leone, working on issues of child nutrition and child protection. He has also served as a volunteer with Action Against Hunger. During the deadly Ebola saga in Sierra Leone, Mr. Sam-Kabba served as Pair Supervisor providing leadership in 28 communities whose rates of Ebola cases were the lowest in the country. Building on his experience in working with communities and young people, Mr. Sam-Kabba sought to create a platform for youth where their opinions and voices could not only be heard but could also influence the progress of the country on issues affecting quality education, health services, human rights, and democratic decision-making. It was that vision that helped establish SP-SL in 2018. Working together with various schools and communities in promoting quality education, human rights, good governance, democracy, and health services. Today Mr. Sam-Kabba is serving the capacity of Executive Director for the Enough Abuse Sierra Leone an NGO committed in educating parents, teachers, students, Communities and youth Serving Organizations on child sexual abuse prevention, healing and justice.Mr. Sam- Kabba is also working restlessly in bring together civil society groups through what he called the Civil Society Situation Room.
