I am a person who has a passion to help and take care of animals as I view them as these wonderful specimens with each having their own personality just like us humans. This passion has led me into wanting to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. I have been volunteering at the local SPCA (society for the Prevention of cruelty to animals) and this has given me experience on how to handle injured and aggressive animals. When rescuing animals, we often find that some of them are sick and are in need of medical attention, which is then when a veterinarian is called in. I use this time to ask the veterinarian questions and I'm always examining how the veterinarian handles the animals and what he/she does to ensure the animal is calm.
