Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure the production teams are working effectively and achieving required Production volumes andachieving daily OEE. Ensure that the personnel in your control follow company policies, work instructions, procedures, andtest methods. Accurate record keeping of how the production parameters are maintained in the factory ensuring therequired product quality levels are maintained and implementing food safety standards. Act promptly to investigate and resolve Production non-conformances by taking lead in troubleshootingand engaging to generate non-conformances and corrective actions. Directly supervise and engage team by coaching to achieve set KPI’s. Conduct regular housekeeping inspections during each shift and ensure that all areas are neat. Liaise with Quality team on shift for all Product Quality issues. Work in close collaboration with Analytical Lab to produce accurate input within product specifications. Ensure efficient running of filling machines, SSY support, Stock controlling and WM9 accuracy. Control all relevant CIP’s, validations, and verification, including documentation & records. Participate in internal and external audits: FSSC 22000, Agri, and NOSA, KFC Audits. Responsible for direct operational input of primary data into TRG & TRS. Tote bin & packaging to be in line with variance consumption of materials report to be used accuratelyfor all SKU’s. Ability to maintain accurate primary documentation to support MMS/BPCS & GMP- Mass balance. Bulk base losses to be within the scrap factor, ensuring base received from process are aligned with thefilling output. Ensuring high level of discipline in compliance and that team members maintain high level of moral inthe department. Responsible for work rosters, managing time and attendance, as well as staff leave, Kronos to be updateddaily. Conduct job observations and competency assessments.

Make sure control room receives information regarding mix back (all documents etc.)• Drive all machines availability, efficiencies, OEE's and MPS at all times• Be a hands on person and support Engineering with problem solving• Good knowledge of production/machine settings in his area• Keep housekeeping, Safety and HACCP in control at all times• Keep waste on all machines within specs and strive to better targets continuously• Reporting of all problems to Line Managers/Manager essential• Keep documentation for SIC boards updated and submit to control room• Operators to be trained on all machines.• Work hand in hand with all other departments• Basic computer literacy essential with experience in PLC’s,SCADA and capturing data• Knowledge on product flow in maize and wheat packing areas• Good communication, coaching and educating skills• Must be energetic, self-motivated and a hard worker• Must be reliable and punctual • Trustworthy and able to work with minimum supervision• Team player with sober habits• Strong physical and mental ability essential• Strong mechanical knowledge
