Emmaus provides a home and work opportunities in a supportive community, enabling people who were homeless to regain self-respect and independence. I work with the federations 34 CEO’s and board members to deliver a range of targeted interventions aligned to enhancing operational efficiencies and practices. I facilitate board strategic-planning sessions, Theory-of-Change modelling, Outcomes-Frameworks workshop, impact measurement and growth strategies. I also service the Investment Committee

Through the Leicester Startup Coworking Project, partners from across the region have joined forces to harness and build on Leicester(shire’s) strengths, to create a more connected and vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem and to make the region first choice for start-ups in the UK. The project supports SME’s and Startups working on innovative businesses models with high growth potential. In addition to managing the co-working space, I run two accelerator programmes per year and deliver a broad range of engagement events. I also facilitate connections through our bespoke Help Engine to a carefully curated pool of founders, investors and subject-matter experts.

I led a £5.2 million Big Lottery funded ‘Action Research’ programme. Leicester Ageing Together (LAT) comprised 16 partners who delivered 23 projects and the programme was evaluated by the Institute of Mental Health at Nottingham University. In addition to reporting to the CEO, the LAT Board and funder I was responsible for managing a team of 8, directing operations, contract performance, budgets/forecasting, commissioning and identifying new sources of income.Money Advice Project- £248,000 from the Money Advice Service to deliver an innovative project on influencing financial capability with older people. This involved developing a Theory of Change logic model, service deign, and co-production of the Outcomes Frames work with the evaluator
