In my previous life as a sports journalist I loved covering football, boxing and a whole host of other sports. I had the pleasure of working on David Beckham's tribute dinner, interviewed the irrepressible Brian Clough, watched Gazza play some of the best football of his life at Glasgow Rangers and covered Hartlepool United at the League One play-off finals (my team!).But I always had a keen interest in business and just what makes a successful company.
