Responsible for leading and supervising the development, testing, modification, and creation of solutions to technical problems concerning the efficiency and reliability of mining assets; Responsible for identifying and managing asset reliability risks that could adversely affect mine or business operations; Responsible for loss elimination, risk management, and life cycle asset management for all facets of mining operations within the Martin Lake complex

Supervise/Schedule/Plan and oversee the mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mining equipment, shop facilities, and power grid (loading stations, substations, hauling equipment, etc); Budgeting and planning for production and financial KPIs, as well as developing procedures and best practices for services, inspections, and other aspects of maintenance

Responsible for the maintenance of all shops, facilities, and heavy equipment such as loading stations, draglines, substations, and commercial HVAC; Repairing and troubleshooting voltages from 110v-138kV along with servicing and installing PLC systems and programs and various other logic controls. Electrical work includes all types of AC and DC motors and generators with motors ranging from minimal horsepower to well above 1000hp.
