My primary focus over the last 12 months has been on working with adventure tourism businesses in Canada, New Zealand and Wales, with my time predominantly split between: Porters Ski Area: Managed the pre-opening digital marketing and season pass sales process. The role includes developing the campaign strategy, managing the website and communications, writing copy, photo-editing, managing customer data and creating newsletters. Select Contracts: I manage the pre-opening operational processes at various startups in the leisure, tourism and adventure industry. Vet Salus: as a start-up consultancy business, I support Vet Salus to improve their website structure and content, manage external communications, and produce newsletter and social media content

TYF is a busy adventure tourism business in north Pembrokeshire. I worked in most areas of the business managing projects to streamline systems and processes, improve the customer experience and increase efficiency and overall return on activities.

As part of the pre-opening team, my primary role was to install the RFID ticket system. This involved gathering requirements and understanding all operational processes to ensure the system was suitable for all departments. I also supported the Guest Services and retail teams by training staff, ensured the customer journey was as smooth as possible and set-up systems and processes for reporting.

Porters is a busy ski area in Canterbury, New Zealand. I was responsible for managing the guest services team, ensuring the ticket office ran efficiently to deal with huge queues on the busiest days, and that productivity remains high at quieter times. I also managed the implementation of a new RFID ticket system, and analysed all marketing and website data to make informed decisions on future campaigns and activity.

Having moved to New Zealand, I worked on small projects on an ad-hoc consultancy basis, whilst travelling around the country. Projects included: - Developing digital marketing campaigns for a tourism provider, as well as the set-up of (and training on) Google Analytics - Analysis of the use of a CRM database within a veterinary clinic, including recommendations to improve its’ future use as an effective direct marketing tool - Social media set-up and training for a health consultant, as well as plans for future direct marketing campaigns - Website build (using Wordpress) for a business consultant

As part of a new Individual Giving team at Tŷ Hafan, I managed a range of donor recruitment, retention and development campaigns across a number of marketing channels, generating income from regular giving, cash donations and legacies.

In my role at Bluestone, I was responsible for managing, planning and rolling out the company’s digital marketing strategy. Highly target-driven, I was required to work effectively within the marketing team, whilst using my initiative to independently suggest and implement new online marketing campaigns and techniques. I was recruited by MSS to oversee their marketing and promotion campaigns, including their new digital marketing drive. This included overseeing the launch of the site, and managing it on a daily basis.
