• Leading a team of IT professional for direction and control of all information systems & technology activities in Daiwa India, and in delivering technical solutions to the equities and fixed income business• Overlooking all applications/development activities, database management, and computer operations.• Providing direction to systems planning and systems integration efforts.• Establish overall systems and technology plans and direction for India office.• Directing the Company’s telecommunication activities.• Developing system-related budgets and annual strategic plans for the Department.• Interface with the management and business unit management on all systems related issues.• Working closely with business partners to initiate new ideas and programs, evaluate the needs and provide support and consultation services that will complement the business development• Act as the liaison with peer organization, key industry groups, and associations related to system activities.• Liaising with Tokyo and Hong Kong office to gather information for provision of management reports and development schedules.• Responsible for managing multiple applications/development projects.• Establish project requirements, priorities and deadlines with the users, and coordinate resources across various projects.• Present to management and users upon project completion.• Maintain and assure the projects, after completion, work satisfactory, and provide technical support and solution to any problems arose.• Coordinate project requirements with other areas of the Company, outside vendors and consultants• Manage budget for assigned projects, monitor project progress and adjust resources and priorities accordingly.• Developing a support base in India for other branches of Daiwa in the APAC region.
