SAI Global is one of the world’s leading risk management businesses operating in 29 countries worldwide with over 2000 staff across 50 locations. Their various portfolios include risk technology platforms, advisory services, auditing, information & content and BPO services.My career with SAI Global spans 11 years, the first six of those years in Senior HR roles whilst the latest five have been in Senior Operational Management roles. This role was responsible for the global operational delivery of services to SAI Global’s Knowledge portfolio (global revenue circa $80M). Some of the key achievements & responsibilities include:• Cost reduction of over $500K per annum through an RFQ process and transition of internationally outsourced services• Speed of service from 3 weeks to 24 hours through a major new platform and data migration project (2.5 million records).• Management of the global delivery operation involving 70 resources, 4 sites and delivery to over 50 countries.• Overall product ownership for all back-end applications within the division • Implementation of a global QMS program (ISO 9001:2015).

Prior to the current global role I was responsible for managing Australian Operations. Some key responsibilities and achievements during this period included a major workforce optimization and change program, reducing costs by 50% to under $700K driving new product development and release in the regulatory area and overall lead on divestment and merger initiatives.

Over the course of nearly 6 years I worked in two HR roles with SAI Global. Initially working as a Senior HR Generalist across all divisions and later working as the HR Manager within the Property division.The HR Manager role formed part of the Senior Management Team responsible for HR strategy & services provided to this division of 500+ employees and revenue in excess of $150M. During 3 years this division saw huge organic growth of circa 50% and required the implementation of wide ranging operational excellence programs increasing staff efficiency from 45% to 75%. Specifically some of my achievements in this role were leading the talent and recruitment program to recruit over 200 employees allowing the company to execute two major wins totaling over $50M. Following this growth, we implemented widespread People & Culture improvement programs including:• A performance improvement program – saving 80 FTE nationally• A culture, quality and behavior improvement program – SLA penalty reduction of over $1M• Transformation program – rolling off CAPEX costs of over $600K

This role acted as HR support to the business in the fields of performance management, policies and procedures, interpreting awards and agreements, grievances, recruitment, OH&S and other HR related activities.

Dual role providing general HR support to the business and managing the company's payroll activities.
