Responsible for leading and managing multiple projects and teams. Accountable for guiding staff members on project processes, providing quality assurance for design and construction, and negotiating contracts with consultants. Acted as main point of contact for client and contractors, as well as all design consultants. Responsibilities included: •Research and development of new technologies, definition of market sector, and energy standards as set by Federal requirements•Marketing company by overseeing proposals, attending conferences, and participating in community service projects•Managing consultants contracted to projects, such as civil, structural, and mechanical engineers, HVAC providers, furniture, interior, and geotechnical consultants•Establishing and reviewing scope of work and fee agreements•Managing budgets, establishing billing targets, and adjusting staffing as needed•Scheduling contractors, consultants, and project work•Communicating with principals, client, and city, state and federal agencies•Providing quality control direction and oversight •Managing risks resulting from errors and omissions within construction documents•Providing training, instruction and mentoring to junior staff•Ongoing project budget review and management•All construction administration
