Saw the company from pre-seed to $100 million valuation at Series A, alongside 4x growth in team size.Created multiple key backend services, integrations, and core features from scratch.A representative example 0-1 project: wrote a generalized lifecycle-management engine for jobs on our platform. The goal of the project was to enforce a finite set of flows a job could take, and execute arbitrary side-effects as a result of progress through those flows. We tracked the speed at which jobs made it through our system, the number of jobs getting “stuck”, and qualitative measures from stakeholders. The project hit all our targets. I was heavily involved in requirements gathering and goal setting, and I designed, programmed, and deployed the project myself.Brought about many development best-practices and QOL improvements, such as: automated linting and unit testing, Typescript across all repos, improved logging and error observability
