Accomplished executive with over 24 years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility in broadcasting, live event production, venue operations, and executive leadership. I have consistently sought out and created roles with increasingly challenging scope of responsibility and complexity. Extensive experience working with A-list artists, dignitaries, and scholars. I carry a strong entrepreneurial spirit, launching five new organizations in the last 20 years, including four production and entertainment ventures. Equally important is my personal passion of engaging in volunteer opportunities that allow for improving my organization’s operations, and way of life for our staff, students, and faculty.In January 2022 I became responsible for launching and leading the office of Creative Development and Media Production at Soka University of America. I will manage all development, creative, and execution of SokaFest, live-event broadcasts, and the digital media portfolio for Soka. Leading a team of young professionals in telling the story of the university and its many fascinating constituents. In 2021 I founded Eq Productions, merging together all of the eclectic interests and facets of my professional experience as well as personal passions. I will produce new media content focused on bringing attention to art, music, food, and travel through an episodic video series.As Production and Technical Services Manager of the Soka Performing Arts Center I was responsible for the managerial, administrative, logistical, budgetary, and technical management of all backstage operations of two venues in a world-class center for the arts. I also oversaw the design, implementation and operation of all sound, video, and lighting production for the center. I was with the center since 2007, four years before its grand opening, and managed all of the technical systems design and installation.In my role as Founder of TenPints Entertainment, I worked alongside my partner to perform all of the executive management of a vibrant and exciting concert production company. As the Chief Creative Officer I was responsible for designing, implementing, and executing the production of all of our shows, as well as artists discovery, curation, and booking of emerging artists. My professional career began in 2001 as a member of the founding staff of Soka University of America. In my role as AV technician and later, Multimedia Specialist, I was responsible for all of the Audio Visual, and Imaging support for the newly built 103 acre campus.
