Graduated the top of my class at Vale National in Arlington, Tx 1997. I was taught to write estimates using the Crash Book and P pages at Vale, not on a computer. I am experienced using ADP and CCC One estimating programs. While at Property Damage Appraisers as an IA, I averaged 10-12 claims a day when business was good. Being an IA is not for everyone because the pace can be busy one day and slow the next day. An IA also must be able to adapt to the procedures of all the different insurance companies use you. I carry the same go getter, more work is better, attitude I was conditioned to as an IA. While a body guard and a Correctional Officer I had to make split decisions to ensure the order of a situation, safety of others and protection of those I was hired to guard. Always be aware of my surroundings and try to anticipate the possibility of actions to stabilize a situation. The ability to multitask is a virtue and one I enhanced during this time.
