Oversee Road patrol, Detectives, Training and Corrections. Work closely with local other agencies to coordinate services. Master Instructor through NYSDCJS. Coordinate community policing efforts. Teach at local police academy and statewide as needed. Have been an expert for various companies looking for people in law enforcement.

Responsible for overseeing, managing and supporting the design, implementation, management and evaluation of training programs for the Broome County Training Academy. Facilitates professional development and continuing education and ensure all personnel are highly qualified and well equipped to perform their duties in a constitutional and impartial manner. Provides initial training to new recruits, required annual training to all officers, and specialized training to individual units and newly promoted officers. Evaluates Academy faculty, develops new training curricula and lesson plans, and provides guidance on methods and practices of teaching to Academy staff. Ensures the academic integrity of the Academy and the training programs offered, promotes innovative teaching techniques and manage partnerships with the community. Implements and maintains compliance with DCJS (New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services). Preparation and execution of budget. Meeting with local legislators to get budget passed.
