I assisted with the day-to-day work of the HR Department by supporting and working closely with the HR Director and managers on operational people management matters. At a more strategic level, I was involved with or lead various people related projects such as skills gap analysis, workforce planning and salary benchmarking. Continual improvement, efficiency and compliance were at the forefront of the role. With a comprehensive understanding of HR policies, practices, and employment legislation, I was company focused in advising the Management team and influencing at all levels on things such as employment relation issues, managing risk and performance management. I was involved with and led a lot of disciplinary, investigations, performance, and settlement agreement meetings, along with absence management. I managed the Company’s receptionist and assisted with recruitment, including the selection and interview process.
