I operate in a standalone capacity, providing comprehensive HR support to all employees, Managers and Directors within ACI. I am committed to fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring that HR practices align with company goals, and supporting employees at every stage of their professional journey. My role encompasses the full spectrum of HR functions, and my approach is proactive and employee-centric, aiming to enhance both individual and organisational success.

Further to 9 years as a HR generalist, this enabled me to focus on L&D as a specialism. I was responsible for identifying learning priorities across the business by looking at skills gaps in line with the company’s strategy. In this new role, I was developing KPI’s to measure the success of the company’s investment in learning and development. I worked closely with Managers to look at training requirements and learning pathways for their areas. I was responsible for driving the company’s L&D strategy as a team of one whilst I continued to support the day-to-day HR operations.

I assisted with the day-to-day work of the HR Department by supporting and working closely with the HR Director and managers on operational people management matters. At a more strategic level, I was involved with or lead various people related projects such as skills gap analysis, workforce planning and salary benchmarking. Continual improvement, efficiency and compliance were at the forefront of the role. With a comprehensive understanding of HR policies, practices, and employment legislation, I was company focused in advising the Management team and influencing at all levels on things such as employment relation issues, managing risk and performance management. I was involved with and led a lot of disciplinary, investigations, performance, and settlement agreement meetings, along with absence management. I managed the Company’s receptionist and assisted with recruitment, including the selection and interview process.

Day to day duties included Recruitment, Business Support and Administration. The first point of contact for all HR related queries providing day to day HR Administrative support and working closely with the HR team to ensure a high quality HR service is delivered to the Business.

Answering Customer calls and emails ensuring all Customers receive an excellent Service. Other responsibilites included:• Processing Educational orders• Accurate order entry• Pro – active sales approach e.g. offer of the week, up – sales etc.• Progressing unsatisfied orders/returns • Carrier & order chases
