My time in Local Government has largely focused on implementing and supporting change, this has included but is not limited to legislative changes and digital change. Examples include, leading on the implementation of GDPR within our customer advice and support service. I have also been involved in a number of digital projects as well as the management of systems teams within a local government setting. I have a great deal of management experience, from managing individuals to holding the responsibility of a whole team tasked with various duties, in particular implementing digital change and process re-engineering. I have been extensively involved in recruitment as well as this I have a sound knowledge of HR policies and procedures. I have most recently been involved in team restructures and managing teams through significant structure changes. I have a demonstrated history of working in a local government administration industry as well as private sector work experience. Bachelor's degree focused in History from University of Strathclyde. I am currently studying towards a practitioner PRINCE2 qualification in project management.
