Software Engineer
Current• Develop image processing software in C++ that is implemented on sewer inspection cameras to improve optical performance without updating the actual camera.• Work on Linux and Windows operating systems utilizing Git/Bitbucket and Perforce to branch and track versions and alterations to working code. Tracking changes to limbs of a large system is important for portability between people and helps pinpoint when errors are introduced and can be easily remedied.• Have implemented in code: pointers, threads, inheritance and polymorphism. These techniques are vital to handling large sets of images and processes upon them both independently and dependently.• Closely work with our algorithms team and management to communicate and achieve goals and milestones on schedule.• Work independently on image processing projects researching processing methods, testing in Matlab then writing in C++ to be cross-compiled onto different platforms.
