Hello, my name is Samuel Ernst and I am a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelors of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting and a Masters of Science in Accounting (M.S.). I believe strongly in the necessity of guiding businesses through complex business situations and decisions. As a staff accountant at Beaird Harris, my primary roles include analyzing and completing complex, 1040’s (Individual Tax Returns), Schedule A's, Schedule C's, 1099-MISC, W-4's, W-2's, and 1120-S’s. I serve clients big and small, from Mom and Pop operations in your local hometown to large and complex corporations with hundreds of employees.In the Spring of 2019, I completed an internship with Whitley Penn. This internship--in the middle of tax season--was a fantastic opportunity to work on and utilize the classroom components of what I was being taught at Texas Tech University. Now, as a full time accountant at Beaird Harris, I am passionate about helping businesses grow and solving complex problems.As I’ve completed all 4 sections of the CPA Exam, I am confident that I will continue to make a positive impact for future businesses. Providing immediate value to others and reducing the learning curve are goals that I will continue to maintain.
