I've been working as a backend developer for more than 10 years now (including languages like C/C++, Java, Perl, Python and Ruby).A few of years ago I found Ruby and I switched my focus to web development. I feel that Ruby is the language that gives me the most joy, both when writing and reading code. I care deeply about the structure and readbility of code. If I get to choose, then I will keep writing Ruby for as long as I can. I'm interested in REST (more than just RESTish) and try to contribute to open source with my REST knowledge as much as I can. Nowadays I mostly work with GraphQL when it comes to API, but I'm still hoping to build a thorough REST API.I'm most comfortable in Linux and I appreciate good teamwork.Most of my spare time goes to my family (girlfriend and two kids), my bikes and my snowboard.
