Provision of health and safety training including the IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH National General Certificate and elements of the NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. As well as ‘off the shelf’ courses a number of clients require development of bespoke training courses to ensure their own processes and procedures are addressed in the learning objectives.The role also includes consultancy advice and support to members and key clients this can range from a sample audit or health and safety review to more specific advice such as noise assessments, workplace transport risk assessments, risk assessment facilitation and COSHH assessments.

Key role in the Risk Management North team, providing safety advice and guidance for the three main divisions within the business; Operations, Engineering and Service Delivery. Due to the rapid growth of the company I was also involved in various projects, ensuring effective safety management is adopted during design and implementation stage.The role included:- Health and safety compliance auditing- Risk assessment and SSOW facilitation- Specialist risk assessment facilitation inc. A majority of the role involved auditing the Safety Management systems of organisations' to ensure they meet the desired standard, as defined in HSG65 and ensure clients are legally compliant.Other responsibilities included:- Development and delivery of risk based training courses- Development and implementation of HS(G) compliant management systems- Health and safety representation, advice and support- Business development and client networking- Client event organisation and execution- Water safety management tool development- Information provision in a number of formats including newsletters and social networking- Development and delivery of health and safety related workshops- Support days- Service assessment, analysis and development.
