About Sameera Nalin Venkat

I defended my PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at Case Western Reserve University in July 2024. My PhD research focused on machine and deep learning concepts to analyze microscopy datasets. Specifically, I used image analysis techniques, classification algorithms, and graph neural networks in my PhD research. In the past, I gained valuable experience in data-driven modeling for identifying degradation in photovoltaic modules and synthesizing nanomaterials for energy applications.Beyond my research pursuits, I am passionate about exploring diverse interests. I enjoy immersing myself in books, experimenting with new recipes, and expressing creativity through abstract art.
