"Horeca Koltsovo" JSC was the owner of two hotels ("angelo Yekaterinburg" 4* and "Liner Airport-Hotel Yekaterinburg" 3*) located near the Koltsovo airport. Number of employees: 100+, revenue €10m, total assets value €20m. Responsibilities:- Direct supervision of the finance, accounting and legal teams- Corporate governance, including convening and attending meetings of the Board of Directors and shareholders, preparing materials for such meetings in MS PowerPoint- Updating the DCF model for business valuation and providing it to a Sberbank's investment fund (as one of the shareholders)- Negotiating and concluding contracts with the Austrian management company, banks, appraisers and auditors (top Russian and international firms)- Control over the preparation of accounting and tax reports, management accounts (USALI)Accomplishments:- As a result of a series of negotiations with the bank I reduced the loan rate by 1,6 percentage points, saving the company €0,7m per year - As a result of a series of negotiations with an Austrian management company I reduced their contractual fees by 30%, increasing the company's EBITDA by €0,3m per year- Financed more than €1m in capital expenditures through efficient cash management- Implemented an electronic document management system to improve business process efficiency

Mallino Development Group is a retail real estate development company that owns and manages over 250,000 sq.m. of gross buildings area (GBA), including 5 malls and 2 waterparks in Russian regions. Number of employees: 500+, revenue €35m, total assets value €200m.I joined MDG as a Financial controller and was later promoted to the Head of Finance.Responsibilities:- Managing the departmental team (8 direct reports)- Managing the cash flows of the group (10 legal entities)- Negotiating and signing contracts with banks, insurance and leasing companies, appraisers and auditors (top Russian and international firms)- Raising bank debt- Supervision of the reporting process, plan/actual variance analysis- Financial analysis of investment opportunities for CEO, CFO and shareholders (DCF financial modelling)- Acting CFO in his absence, including Board meetingsAccomplishments:- Raised €8m debt from the top Russian bank to finance the completion of an investment project - Reduced the interest rate on the loan by 2 p.p., saving the company €0,8m per year - Restructured a bank loan to save €2m in cash flow over the next 2 years by reducing principal payments- Led the team performing due diligence on the company to be acquired for €25m (deal successfully closed after that)

I joined EY as an auditor and within a year was assigned to lead the project team (a year earlier than usual in the firm - in recognition of outstanding performance). Responsibilities:- Leading project teams (2-5 members) to meet both the deadlines and quality standards, coaching junior colleagues and reporting to managers and partners- Performing and reviewing audit procedures in order to obtain reasonable assurance about the client's financial statements, preparation of audit reports- Analyzing the business processes of clients to identify risks which may affect the financial statements- Preparation of cash flows, P&L and BS forecasts to assess the client's ability to continue as a going concernAccomplishments:- Managed the outsource accounting project and prepared the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS for the client with $250m revenue (including consolidation of 10+ entities, conversion from national accounting standards to IFRS, preparation of all the footnotes and disclosures) - My performance was repeatedly rated "exceeding expectations" by peers and managers while working at EY
