Within the Business Development structure at Alcoa I support two separate verticals, mergers and acquisitions and new product commercialization. For M&A I complete initial target mapping and benchmarking as well as synergy and cost savings analyzes. I also construct model valuations based on available financial information and internal estimates. New product commercialization pertains to the market launch of new technology developed in house and requires surveys of competitor products, working with end use customers on product valuation and design as well as business model construction and validation.
