My personal mission is to teach all that I have learned as a Music Entrepreneur, Audio Engineer, Music Producer, and Crypto / Metaverse investor to those that desire to learn.There are so many people that have a passion to make a living doing what they love. To be creative and to be entrepreneurs.Outside of being a father, husband, and faithful believer, I see my purpose as being a mentor, guide, and resource for those that want to expand their knowledge and abilities in music production, audio engineering, music entrepreneurship, and crypto / metaverse activities.After graduating from Creighton University (Omaha, Nebraska) with degrees in marketing and finance, I started my career as a Financial Analyst with Union Pacific Railroad, also based in Omaha.The year was 1995, and the home studio wave was in its infancy. I spent 8+ hours per day in a corporate cubicle. At the same time, a few of my friends from the North Omaha neighborhood that I grew up in were making music in rudimentary home studios.There were Casio keyboards, Boss drum machines, Realistic cassette decks and recorders, Radio Shack mixing boards and microphones, and tons of enthusiasm and love for the art and craft of music creation.As soon as I caught wind of these recording sessions, I was there. Every day after work I would quickly take off my suit and tie (or khakis and polo shirt), and head to my buddy Lucky’s house to partake in the musical festivities.Within a year, our music making passion and commitment yielded a local hit record entitled “To Whom It May Concern” featuring Mista Dre and myself. This early critical success ignited a flame in me that would not be extinguished.I knew that entrepreneurship and building a career in the music industry was my destiny. In 1997, I boarded a Greyhound bus headed to the East Coast. Early on I embarked on a successful freelance venture that took me into classrooms, community centers, libraries and nonprofit organizations training students from pre-K to high school to create music utilizing digital technologies.In the year 2000 I built Lil’ Drummaboy Recordings, a full service recording and production company that offers classes in Audio Engineering, Music Production and the music business. Some of my students have been nominated for Grammy awards, worked with major recording artists, opened their own studios, embarked on careers in audio engineering, music production and so much more.Today, I consider myself a Music Entrepreneur who invests in crypto, metaverse, and blockchain technologies.
