In my role at the Experimental and Clinical Research Center, I have been utilizing deep learning to address persistent challenges in interdisciplinary retina research, while also investigating the potential of artificial intelligence in providing innovative solutions for disease diagnosis and prognosis through translational neuroimaging.I have worked on several projects, including:-Developing a classification method for identifying eyes with prior inflammation of the optic nerve… Show more In my role at the Experimental and Clinical Research Center, I have been utilizing deep learning to address persistent challenges in interdisciplinary retina research, while also investigating the potential of artificial intelligence in providing innovative solutions for disease diagnosis and prognosis through translational neuroimaging.I have worked on several projects, including:-Developing a classification method for identifying eyes with prior inflammation of the optic nerve using a dilated residual convolutional neural network (refer to the publications list for more information).-Creating a denoising method for optical coherence tomography images using cycle-consistent generative adversarial networks.-Working on a deep learning-based approach for the challenging task of ganglion cell layer segmentation in optical coherence tomography images (currently ongoing).-Implementing a robust and light-weighted method for intraretinal layer segmentation using compressed cascaded U-Nets (refer to the publications list for further details).
