I enjoy writing code. My first major encounter with software development was building my first-ever mobile application. It was a chat application following a tutorial I had found online. It fascinated me and i would spend days on end building and debugging this application. I enjoyed solving the little problems that i encountered and how much I learnt from developing.My first professional project came not long after when i had built up some level of skill confidence. It was a contract to build a mobile application for making donations to charities. I implemented this using ionic, nodejs and firebase. Despite challenges, I was able to complete this project and deliver on time.Ever since, i have taken on a number of software projects ranging from personal ideas to client jobs to contract and part-time jobs and have built several mobile and web applications. Today, i’m a software engineer at Filmo Realty, where i work on the product team to manage the front and back end of our proptech web application,Vamp.Outside of work I spend time practicing coding on platforms like leetcode and Hackerrank to sharpen my problem-solving skills and i enjoy building mobile applications to implement ideas that i have. I also interact with other developers and engineers on online forums like stack overflow to broaden my knowledge and rub minds with problem-solvers.Skills/interests: JavaScript, Node, React, React-Native, Ionic, Angular, HTML, CSS, Java.
