I am a Building Estimator working in the residential construction industry. I began my career in construction with Metricon in 2020 in the New Homes Sales side of the business.I found much fulfilment in guiding people through often one of their largest purchases, whether it be a first home or knocking down old for new. I took great pride in being able to assist people with such significant investments. My approach to sales was to be the trusted source of information for my clients. Providing information so they can make an informed decision. To improve my knowledge in the industry and to better serve my clients I undertook a Master of Construction Practice through Bond University while continuing to work as a New Home Advisor, both full time.Working in customer facing roles throughout the duration of my undergraduate degree has developed me as an effective communicator. While my learned business skills have allowed me to develop a greater understanding of the business management environment, specifically in relation to Real Estate, Property Development, Marketing and ConstructionMaking the switch to Building Estimating in 2023 has been an amazing opportunity to learn even more about the construction process from a different viewpoint.
