We, as a team, came up with the curriculum for the summer and acted it out. Each week we had a supply list, as well as battle plan for the week. We knew what crafts we were doing on which day the week before we did it. On top of that we were counselors, so we looked after the kids in our charge throughout the day.

As a Community Assistant, my job was to be in charge of a floor of a Residence Hall. My job duties included; patrolling the building at night to ensure the safety of the residents, maintaining office/desk hours where I distributed items that residents wanted to borrow, putting on floor wide or building wide programs, and engaging with my residents. I was the go-to person for the residents on my floor or any other residents who felt comfortable with me. This job gave me vital experience in time management, leadership, teamwork and crisis management.

As the Multimedia & Communications Specialist, my job was to manage all the content that the parents would see on a daily basis as there kids were at camp. I would normally be the one posting parent updates on the facebook page, as well as sharing curriculum. I took photos throughout the week and would share those on facebook as well. Every week I would pull together two videos which shared the curriculum as well as some of the cool stuff we did throughout the week. I would then upload these to youtube. I also created several promotional videos throughout the summer that were used for recruitment, dinners, and other events.
