Having started my career in 1999, i have spent better part of my working in Tirupur and moved to Bangalore in year 2012. Fashion and garments has been my passion ever since i can re collect and hence even at a time when one was expected to do only main stream education i decided to do Diploma in Textiles DKT ( Diploma in Knitting Technology) with PSG college of Technology which in the 1990s was one of the best available in India.RTW (Ready to Wear) has been my Core Sector and I have been associated with the various aspects of the trade for past 20 years. The major focus during this long period has been on Marketing, Merchandising, Product Development, Sourcing, together with Quality control and to a very large extent, Administrative/ Financial Control. These responsibilities were accorded at Senior level positions. During my last assignment, I was placed as Sourcing Manager for the Infant and Children's Apparel section with a leading UK Brand Mothercare in India and in Bangladesh. with Mothercare having offices in UK, Hong Kong and India dealing in Apparels. I have handled successfully a team of upto 10 comprising of team leaders, merchants, fabric co-ordinators, Garment Techs and QAs.
