I am a dedicated Research Scientist with expertise in nanophotonics and material science. Currently, I serve as a Program Coordinator for the Quantum Networks Training and Research Alliance in the Southeast (QuaNTRASE) at the University of Georgia (UGA). With this NSF-funded national research traineeship (NRT) program, I am actively involved in preparing a quantum-ready workforce for diverse careers.Throughout my career, I have made significant contributions to the field through groundbreaking research projects and publications in prestigious journals. My current research focuses on exploring the optoelectronic properties of novel 2D materials and Perovskite Nickelate for artificial synaptic devices, pushing the boundaries of nanophotonics and material science.In addition to my research endeavors, I am passionate about mentorship and leadership. I have mentored numerous high schoolers, undergraduate and graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers, fostering their growth and development. As a Program Coordinator, I coordinate and lead diverse research teams, fostering collaboration and driving impactful research initiatives.I am driven by a commitment to scientific excellence and innovation. My comprehensive skill set includes advanced materials characterization, laboratory management, project coordination, mentorship and leadership.
