This included different kinds of administrative tasks related to studies, demonstrating the activities of the department to different interest groups and acting as a tutor for the 1st -- 3rd year students. On my free time, I designed an AC/DC voltage converter module for an Abloy electric lock.The design objectives were that the module would fit inside the door together with the electric lock and also that the module could be assembled by a common locksmith using only discrete components with through-hole leads and a soldering iron.

The main tasks of this summer job was to assemble radiosondes, different kind of tuning tasks for receivers, acceptance inspection of different modules and disassembling defective radiosondes.The job included using many different kind of measurement devices and considerable amount of high precision soldering
