Hey there! Sam Pool here. I’m currently working as a software engineer at an EdTech company called Goalbook, where I get to do lots of cool stuff: - Write backend code in Go, Python & Ruby- Write frontend code with VueJS- Database management for our MongoDB, AWS Redshift, and AWS RDS databases- Cloud infrastructure management via AWSAll well as technical work, I also get to have input on design decisions for new features which is really fun, and I have even designed UI elements for some of our internal tools myself.My past life was working in the film & television industry as an assistant director, which taught me how to manage and communicate well with large specialized teams to keep complicated projects running smoothly.I'm currently living in Loveland, Colorado, and love hiking, bicycling, and exploring cool nature stuff.
