HASTAC 2019: “Decolonizing Technologies, Reprogramming Education” was an academic conference held at the University of British Columbia's Vancouver campus in May of 2019. It was a collaboration between the University of Victoria's Department of English and The Institute for Critical Indigenous Studies at the University of British Columbia. As an Event Coordinator, I assisted with the organization, scheduling and logistics of the conference. Achievements: • Developed schedule for conference with over 200+ talks, panels, roundtables and workshops.• Ensured that there were no scheduling conflicts between rooms and speakers.• Optimized timing and combination of various events to evenly distribute conference attendance.
