As a lifelong athlete, I have acquired extensive knowledge and experience of nearly every form of athletic training. As an elite athlete/student, I learned how to balance the high demands of being a national team rower; investing time and effort in hours of consistent high performance training, while keeping a day-to-day schedule for personal (athletic and academic) goals.Throughout my rowing career, I dedicated 20+ hours a week for 8 years to training sessions for the junior national team. I was recipient of multiple medals and awards, and have been a trusted coach for multiple Dallas rowing teams.Being someone who has a chronic knee injury, I learned how to work with different body traumas, adapting my training programs to meet the demand of prehabilitation, rehab and proper recovery from my athletes, while continuing to perform at national ranking standards. As a rower for various teams and countries, I developed strong communication skills that have helped me increase athlete recruitment at my current job. I excel at task management and team leadership, both crucial skills that have facilitated my job as a recruiter.My knowledge is not limited to Rowing, I am currently working on a NPTA certification as a Professional Personal Trainer after years spent in the weight room, and a continuing education on Sports Psychology and Kinesiology and Athletic taping/recovery.
