When I was a clubhouse assistant for the San Antonio Missions (AA Minor League Baseball Team), I had a locker in the clubhouse with the players. I noticed the players who arrived early, stayed late and eventually made it the big leagues had a relentless work ethic that was fueled by peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I start my week out with a PBJ Sandwich - a reminder to stay humble, work hard and never stop paying your dues!
