As a marketing coordinator at AE, I partner with digital cross-functional teams to understand the financial, promotional, and product priorities of the business and integrate that direction into our email and site customer-facing communications. I oversee the day-to-day functioning of our team to ensure that from inception to final handoff, our marketing assets are supporting the financial and product goals of the company.

10 week internship on the Email & Mobile Marketing team; primarily responsible for partnering with key cross-functional teams to construct, proof and distribute promotional emails to customers. Given full responsibility of email production for the Aerie brand of AEO. This included scheduling the promotional emails to be sent to customers, communicating with CheetahMail (an Experian Company) and other interdepartmental teams regarding assets and handing off finished emails to higher executives for final approval. Worked specifically with CheetahMail to acquire customer segmentation information and assure the emails were free of errors prior to being distributed to customers. Additionally gained exposure in the field of video production; spent time as a production assistant on set during filming sessions for sales associate training videos and informational newscasts known as AEO News Now. Sat in on multiple round tables with some of AEO’s key executives such as Fred Grover (Global Brand President), Mary Boland (CFO), Joe Megibow (SVP/CDO) and Michael Leedy (SVP/CMO).

Freelance remotely with a concert promotion agency in Kent, OH. Engaged with customers and bands via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to establish Addict Entertainment as a brand that fosters community and supports the local music scene. Responsible for scheduling posts, replying to comments, and innovating strategic ways to increase organic reach. Additionally gained exposure to popular third party digital applications such as Hootsuite and bit.ly.

Worked with a team of fellow marketing majors Fall semester to help recreate the brand and marketing strategy of a non-profit drug/alcohol rehabilitation ministry.

Spent three weeks at St. Vincent College during Steelers' Training Camp escorting and providing customer service to VIP clients and sponsors; Additionally helped lead the Play 60 youth football program.

Summer internship at Los Angeles-based recording studio, Speakeasy Sound, learning the basic practices of audio engineering and professional music production; Set up potential new client relationships through research and networking tactics.
