I investigated whether flourishing, as part of mental well-being, can help combat burnout in the workplace. My results show that when levels of flourishing increase, levels of burnout decrease. This is very interesting for practitioners as there is a cross over from the personal sphere to the professional, where mental well-being (which may originate outside the workplace) may be used to reduce burnout (which is a fully work-related phenomenon).
