As a process engineer in a mid-stream sector of a very volatile Exploration and Production company, I was tasked with high risk, very engaging, roles. I rose to break the glass ceiling by being the first female engineer to be in the field a taking up shift operations.  I supervised round the clock process operations and coordinated with various support services. I carried out Engineering and Production decisions related to feedstock, process, and dispatch of sweet gas, naphtha, and other value-added products. I planned and executed the entire turnaround and start-up of Condensate Fractionation Unit within a time bound schedule. I am an experienced project manager, I used PERT/CPM, Gantt Charts and other tools to minimize turnaround time. Recipient of 2018 Plant Manager's award for outstanding performance in plant operations.  Professionally trained at survival at sea, H2S Safety, and firefighting. Within a year of joining, I was independently handling projects and mentoring new entrants and interns.

Was assigned to design a two-cut batch distillation column with reflux for the separation of acetic acid and water for the reuse/resale of acetic acid. This was a part of a larger capacity expansion project being undertaken for the first time by the organization.A parallel assignment entailed assessment and quantification of energy consumption and losses in air compressor and chiller; this associated project required me to design a Rotary Vacuum Dryer - which was to replace the existing tray dryer to speed up productivity, to help double the plant capacity.

Six week summer internship.The experience introduced me to the techniques, technologies and concepts related to milk production, quality control, pipeline systems, effluent treatment in a dairy. Scope for a chemical engineer in a dairy: To identify the sources of effluent, quantify and device better techniques for its disposal.
