As a creative technology leader, I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of digital storytelling through innovative strategies and immersive experiences that truly connect with audiences. With over 20 years of experience, I co-founded and lead Method, a creative tech studio where we craft cutting-edge digital experiences that amplify stories and experiences for brands, cultural storytelling, education and entertainment. Our mission is to transform how audiences engage with content, using the latest in digital and interactive technology to enhance human connection.I am also a co-founder of Mighty Eyes (a merger of M Theory and Oddboy) – global pioneers in VR and spatial gaming. Our VR game Wanderer released in 2022 to global critical acclaim and has positioned us as a serious player in the VR and spatial gaming space. Most recently, I launched Mad Carnival, a game studio dedicated to creating inclusive, non-violent games for all ages, supported by New Zealand’s Centre of Digital Excellence (CODE) and Alt Ventures. We have an exciting project currently underway – an adventure game that has close ties to my heritage. I'm committed to fostering diversity in the creative tech industry and am proud to contribute to the vibrant creative tech and gaming ecosystem in Aotearoa. I regularly speak and advocate for greater representation in this space, aiming to inspire with an innovative, genuine approach and dedication to growing the talent and diversity within the sector.
