I come with more than five years of experience in Genetics & Plant Breeding encompassing research in Morphological, Molecular, Bio-chemical and Micro-propagation aspects of several crops, but majorly Tomato, Cauliflower and Oil Palm. Apart, from that I have four years of experience as production executive and area-in charge for production of hybrid seeds of Maize, Tomato, Cauliflower etc. at Monsanto India Ltd. and Seminis (Monsanto Holdings Pvt Ltd.), allied seed production research and large-scale nursery management. Another 1.2 years as Scientific-officer in ICRISAT – World Vegetable Center (WVC) provided me vital experience in Tomato, Hot-pepper, Pumpkin, Bitter-gourd etc. seed production, germplasm maintenance and global distribution, breeding and all India multi-locational trials for disease resistance of TYLCV in Tomato. Further, enriching my experience was the fact that I over-saw pilot project on vertical-agriculture for landless poor and deployment of solar based drip irrigation system at WVC. I am also skilled in statistical & plant-image analysis utilizing latest software viz. MS-Office, XLSTAT, R and R-Studio, SPSS, Windowstat, NTSYSpc, Tomato Analyzer along with other data analysis software and ecosystems. I have qualified ICAR AIEAA for both U.G. (Rank: 1434) and P.G. (Plant Sciences – JRF Rank:46), ARSB-Net, GRE and TOEFL examinations. My Ph.D. thesis stands submitted on 10th of August, 2022. I have excellent communication skills and ample experience in co-ordinated team-work with all-India and multi-national teams across disciplines.
