Functional Testing of TCS Bancs

Description: Deutche Bank has named this project as BORIS.TCS Bancs will be implemented in around fifty Operational Units worldwide. The entire Payment solution will be provided by TCS Bancs.CONTRIBUTIONInitially was assigned the task of fixing GUI related bugs raised by the Testing team.Made part of the testing team called as Solution and Verification Unit (SVU)Involved in preparing the Test Plans for testing to be carried out effectively.Analyzed the GAP documents to create Test Scenarios and Test Cases.Reviewed the cases prepared by other team mates and suggested improvements if required.Tested the manual creation of Transactions which are initiated by a Customer, or a Bank to Bank Transfer.Tested transactions settling within the bank or being forwarded to SWIFT Network or other settlement systems like Target2, SEPA.Tested SWIFT format messages as well as messages in MINT format.Involved in logging bugs in Bugzila and keeping a proper track of the bugs.Have been given the extra responsibility of creating and maintaining different environments in Windows as well as Unix.Incharge of the environment owned by the SVU team and systematic deployment of changes made and bugs fixed by the development team (called Delivery) in the testing environment.Set up of Weblogic, Mqueue, Database in the environments created for the purpose of Development as well as Testing.Execution of several online scripts called as Batches to perform different functionalities.In charge of tracking and maintaining defects logged by the Client during UAT phase and timely resolution of those defects.Responsible for a daily discussion with the client regarding the proper functioning of the system and the defects if any.Comfortable in Basic SQL queries needed for the testing purpose.Involved in UAT of the product.
