Program Coordinator
Current• Provide clinical support to at-risk families in Hempstead and neighboring communities, including Uniondale, Roosevelt, Westbury, Elmont, and Freeport.• Develop and implement strategies for engaging families, individuals, and groups through therapeutic interventions such as family mediation, individual counseling sessions, and structured parenting and anger management classes.• Deliver Active Parenting and Anger Management Classes, an evidence-based program, on a weekly basis to foster positive parenting skills and family dynamics.• Collaborate with community organizations, Nassau County services, Probation, and other FCA programs to ensure integrated and effective support for families.• Maintain compliance with all contractual obligations by overseeing the timely completion and submission of required paperwork, reports, and statistics.• Supervise and provide clinical guidance to intern students on a weekly basis.• Engage in mandatory and recommended professional development training to enhance clinical skills and program effectiveness.
