My main role was to test new systems internally before they were released to clients. This included our main software, supporting additions and new features. In addition, I was heavily involved in Customer Support, both from a first/second line support and onsite visits and installations.I also documented the work done by the developers for future development and improvements, customer reference guides and support.Other side projects included product reviews, website reviews and website design.

I spent three years of my course working behind the bar, The Vernon Arms, in different capacities. Initially I worked as a member of staff, working 6 - 18 hours per week. I worked many different events and evenings, including college balls, functions and formals. From the beginning of 2012 I was promoted to Team Leader, which meant I worked 12-18 hours per week. My role was, as part of a team, to manage the day-to-day running of the bar. This included:- Opening and Closing;- Stocking;- Cashing Up;- Operating the bar to the capacity the manager would when present;- Completing relevant documents during the course of the evening.In addition to regular nights, I also helped manage other college events and functions. I also sat on Bar Committee for 2 years, representing students with their views on the activities undertaken there.At the beginning of 2013, I left my role as Team leader to pursue my studies and to allow other people into the role. I stayed on in a temporary role, providing knowledge to my successors and assisting when staff were absent (this lasted until I left the university).

My role was mainly assisting the lead Project Manager in putting together a new contract with the MOD. I organised meetings, updated previous documents, liaised with clients and track the progress of the project plan.As well as this, I helped the Risk Engineer by assessing any risks associated with the bid and other projects.I attended monthly reviews, minuted meetings, and held meetings with heads of departments.A project I was given in my time there had me try to improve the efficiency of the monthly reviews, as they could last up to two days. This had me assess the styles of the meetings, co-ordinate responses from multiple departments across the business and consolidate many documents.

I voluntarily taught children to swim, from those with no previous experience to those who competed. I taught anywhere between 3 to 6 hours per week. From 2009, I took on instructing the new teachers and overall supervision of the poolside sessions. Classes ranged from 4-10 children per group, with around 8 groups / 60 children at its peak. I also covered sessions for the head coach when she was absent, teaching the highest performing swimmers.
