Born and raised in Bergen County, NJ, he came from a lower middle class family. His primary interests growing up were Music and Math. He began his first business during his senior year of high school: SCJ Pro Entertainment (Sam, Chris, and Jon). This grew to success over the next few years with Sam working in both nightclubs and private events as a DJ, singer, and entertainer. Next Sam wanted to tackle e-commerce and began Sonicfiber.com.Over the next 8 years it expanded to have 13 full time employees and achieved gross revenues of just shy of 10 million dollars in 2013. During this time Sam also formed a number of other businesses including: DJRentalGear.com, a rental/production house for pro audio, visual, DJ, and Lighting Gear, and purchased The UPS Store #4958 in Teaneck, NJ. Today Sam owns Musically Yours, DigitalDJGear.com, Dekoni Audio, nine The UPS Store Franchise Locations, a laundromat, and is involved in commercial real estate projects through his partnership in SNS Real Estate Investment Group LLC. He also maintains an active speaking panel, and formerly sat on two boards for The UPS Store (PACE and NY Co-Op Marketing). Sam sits on the Music Advisory Board for the Bergen County Academies a magnet high school. He is often called upon as a motivational speaker at the University level about young entrepreneurship, business development, marketing, and logistics.
