As a partner with Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Team, my practice is focused on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on the health care, financial services and transportation industries. I have represented companies throughout the country in a broad range of litigation, arbitrations, and class actions, including claims involving the False Claims Act, the Sherman Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute, federal and state health care regulations, unfair trade practices statutes and the Bayh–Dole Act. I have extensive experience in appellate litigation, including matters in the U.S. Supreme Court, state supreme courts and multiple federal circuits. My admissions include the U.S. Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Eleventh Circuit, the Sixth Circuit and the Georgia Court of Appeals. In addition, I served as a chapter editor for the seventh edition, and forthcoming eighth edition, of the Georgia Appellate Practice Handbook.
